National Geographic named Pete McBride and Kevin Fedarko as 2017 Adventurers of the Year.
Pete McBride and Kevin Fedarko gave a keynote at Mountain Story in Jackson, WY called “The Grandest Journey” about their trek through the length of the Grand Canyon. Pete also conducted a photography workshop, “Chasing Light.”
Pete McBride and Jake Norton’s Film, Holy (un)Holy River, won Best Adventure and Exploration Film at the Banff Mountain Film Festival 2016 and Best Mountain Culture at the Torello Mountain Film Festival 2016.

Pete was a podcast guest for the The Fresh Water Trust, talking about his recent 600-mile plus walk through the Grand Canyon and what inspires him to chase rivers.
